[ Snow, of course, has something for Regina. There isn't a chance she wouldn't. Though it may be just a bit sappier than other things she'll be given.
Anyway.
There's something traditional because God knows Regina could relax. So, have candles, an eyemask, and perfume. But that isn't all. In a nice, velvet pouch, there are seeds - apple seeds - and a handwritten letter in an envelope which reads: ]
Dear Regina,
This isn't the first time I've written you a letter, but I do think this will be the first you read and take to heart. An explanation of the gifts first: Please do yourself a favor and relax. Sometimes, all you can do is take care of yourself and right now, that might be the best way to help everyone. The seeds are for you to plant here. I know how much you love your apple tree at home, and while some of us prefer pears, I must admit you know how to artfully fill a bowl more expensive than my entire shoe collection with only the best looking red apples. Perhaps you can use magic to make the tree grow, but if you can't, something will take root here to remind you of how much you've grown.
I realize you've been through so much more than I have and will experience eventually. But I know this sentiment will continue to be true: I'm so proud of you, Regina. You are exactly the woman I admired who saved me all those years ago. You've saved me again since then, or at least tried to sacrifice yourself, and you are, forever, a hero. Not only to me, but to Henry, Emma, Charming, and everyone else in Storybrooke.
Merry Christmas, Regina.
Always,
Snow
